Farming the natural way

Growing fruits, vegetables, flowers and herbs using only natural farming methods, the farm is the heart of  all practices followed and taught at The Shilaroo Project. The farm that houses the Project has been consciously cultivated on the principles of natural farming and regenerative agricultural practices since 2013. Though primarily an apple orchard, the farm has been carefully structured into growing a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs, so as to enable the Project to be self sustainable. From creating rain water harvesting systems, grey water treatment facility and recharge pits to using various kinds of composting methods and materials there has been an earnest attempt to create a sustainable eco-system.
